Karol Ingber

Karol Ingber is a litigation attorney with more than 24 years of experience. She has supervised all aspects of trial preparation and trial, from managing discovery through verdicts affirmed on appeal.
Ms. Ingber specializes in business, bankruptcy and real property disputes, intellectual property litigation, and general liability claims. She has also handled employment disputes and supervised the litigation of hazardous waste claims and products liability, including advising manufacturers and premises owners on compliance with state and federal regulation of environmental toxins.
Ms. Ingber has handled high exposure cases involving sensitive claims such as the wrongful death of a minor by a nationally-known caregiver, sexual molestation allegations against a Catholic priest, and negligent homicide charges against an officer of the United States Marines. She successfully defended a highly acclaimed professional baseball player in a negligence action venued in San Francisco and represented one of the world’s most publicized celebrities in a dispute relating to the unauthorized distribution of a videotape.
Ms. Ingber has been lead counsel in trials, arbitrations (in and out of state), and restraining order and injunction hearings in state and federal courts; participated in hundreds of mediations and settlement conferences, and conducted and/or defended hundreds of depositions, including experts.
She also has significant experience with briefing in the Court of Appeals and has participated in several oral arguments before the panel.
